We are happy to announce that we have launched officially our new website https://raldafriends.ch/, that is specifically aimed for our friends and adopters based in Switzerland. As we always say, Ralda+Friends is a family project whose roots, heart and olive trees are located in Godall (Tarragona, Spain). However, the idea was originated in Geneva, where we have the 50% of the team, the two Ralda brothers. We also have many great friends and adopters in Switzerland who like to enjoy the sun, health and the wise gastronomy of our Tierras del Ebro. However, as Switzerland is not part of the...

As we have already told you, one of the most painful problems nowadays in the Tierras del Ebro region is what we call the plundering of olive trees. It happens when our centennial and millennial olive trees are indiscriminately uprooted and sold to agents around the world so they can use them to better decorate the gardens and properties of rich people or powerful institutions. For years, the “Salvem el Montsià” platform has been denouncing a situation that is considered an irreparable loss for our landscape, our environment and our economic and cultural heritage. Until now, this wealth can be...

We are very pleased to share with you that we have been accepted as finalists to one of the most important Prizes in Food Innovation in Catalonia. Last 5 October we went to Barcelona to present our project to a jury composed by  senior officials from the Department of Agriculture of the Catalan Government. At the beginning of 2017, in the last Oil and Asparagus Fair in Godall, we were visited by representatives of the Government. They encouraged us to bid to the annual edition of the PITA Prizes (PITA meaning: Prizes in Innovation and Food Technology). The prizes are...

On December 9, Pierre Ralda was interviewed in the Catalan Radio RAC1. He was invited by Elisenda Camps, director and anchor of the Tot es possible daily show (All is possible) (http://www.rac1.cat/programes/tot-es-possible) of the Number1 private radio in Catalan, in order to explain the Ralda+Friends history to her audience. The interview was quite long around 15 minutes and it gave to Pierre the opportunity to recall the origins of the project, all the people involved, the olive tree adoption process and, of course, to talk about the new Christmas Pack Tierras del Ebro (http://www.raldafriends.com/rf/en/new-special-xmas-pack/), recently launched. Those who are interested...

Last September, back from holidays, we got some very nice and unexpected surprises. First, because we discovered that the adoption of olive trees may be a wonderful gift for weddings. That is the case of two new recently married couples: Patricia and Oriol, who got married in Barcelona, and Marta and Lyndon, who did so in Singapore. Congrats to the four of them and happy you can celebrate with a good Godall olive oil. By the way, the olive tree is a symbol of long and wise life, and this is exactly what we...
