A Great Day with our Great Friends
Last March 10-11, our village of Godall held the 15th edition of its “Oil and Asparagus Fair”. As it happened in 2017, Ralda&Friends invited all its Friends and Adopters to our annual Encounteer in order to enjoy on the culture, the folklore and the gastronomy of our village. About 15 friends coming from different points of Europe travelled to meet and greet us. On March 11, morning, they were able to enjoy a popular breakfast made by typical bread, olive oil, asparagus omelette, grilled butifarra (Catalan sausage) and the wonderful “allioli” sauce.
Full of energy, the group visited the local Mill, where we were taught about the process of production, refining and we had the opportunity to taste three different kinds of Olive Oils. After that we went walking to La Serra under a sunny day and later on we also reached La Plana where some of .our friends were able to discover and take a picture with the olive-trees they have adopted.
The day before, as we informed you via Facebook, our family was awarded with the Godall Cooperative diploma for having delivered the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil in 2017-18. We celebrate it with a wonderful lunch at the Restaurant of the Hotel Diego in Santa Barbara.
