We are very happy to announce that the millenary olive trees from the Sénia Territory (to which Godall belongs) have been declared by UNFAO as “Important System of World Agricultural Heritage (SIPAM)”. On December 7, our local newspaper, Mes Ebre (see: https://bit.ly/2FHTryy) reported that this acknowledgment was approved by the GIAHS program of the FAO and its Scientific Advisory Group. Summer holidays are here and Ralda&Friends want to suggest original activities in our region that may nourish both your health and mind. Our suggestion of today is about oleo-tourism and, particularly, about a very interesting asset located in the village of Ulldecona, in Tarragona province, very close to our home in Godall. Our Friends and Adopters may already know what is serendipity. Dictionary says it is an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident. An example: in 1928, Dr. Alexander Fleming was working on the Flu vaccine when he noticed that by accident a kind of fungus had eradicated the “staphylococcus” bacteria from a laboratory tile.
